Mobilization can make a difference!

Arms flows to Israel via ZIM end
Decree Banning All Forms of Arms Transit to Israel in Wallonia
This decree was published after an investigation by Vredesactie into authorizations for the transport of explosive materials granted to Challenge airlines between October 7, 2023, and March 4, 2024, demonstrating that 70 tons of military equipment destined for Israel transited through Liège-Bierset Airport. Various mobilizations and demonstrations took place, and more than 1,000 Belgian citizens filed a collective complaint against the airline on Wednesday at 11 police stations.
Once again, our governments were aware of the loophole in the legislation allowing this arms transit, and civil society forced them to close it.
